Hi, we are Max and Psycho. Aren’t we adorable? We are two very lively, quiet and fun birds. We have good appetites. Some favorite foods are watermelon, peas, dried corn, bananas, red peppers, carrots and we love our Zupreme pellets and Nutri- berries.

We can talk a little. Want to hear my storm trooper voice from Star Wars? You can definitely understand some of the words like baseball, pretty bird, etc. We also like to whistle but fair warning; you must bob and weave as we whistle so we can all have fun.

We can be a little possessive of our territory. We will step up most of the time, but to make it easier on you, make sure the cage is lower so you have the upper hand. We love our play stand and may try to defend it.

We love showers but let’s not stop there, let us soak our feet a bit and then rub some Vitamin B oil on them to finish the bath. We love it! We currently are fully feathered, but have had our nails and wings clipped by a professional and we don`t seem to mind it too much.

We can definitely be handled and we don`t mind hanging out with you, however, we want to get back to the safety of our cages after a short time.

Other pets? They are family too, right? We are not intimidated by our foster parent’s cat or a dog. We can entertain them too if need be. Well, if the cat ignores us, that is even better.

We are used to being out of our cages from 9am until around 9pm, with human supervision. We love toys, the chew and destroy ones are favorites.

I, Psycho, do not like to go to bed and make it a little challenging at times. I am a little afraid of a perch that is not mounted in the cage and when seen in my human’s hand, I will move to the inside of the cage for the night.

We get along well together and would prefer not to be separated.
