Michael (was Davidson)

Sub-Species: Silver Whiteface
Adopted on 2024-01-13
Hello there! I am a healthy handsome boy named Michael by my prior adopter, though I sometimes lean toward my previous name of Davidson (as in Harley Davidson :)) I can be a renegade!

Right now, I live in a room with four other cockatiels and 9 finches. I have just started coming out of my cage on my own (no hands please! we`ll discuss this later...) and spreading my wings. My flying is a little crazy because I haven`t had much out time, but I`m getting pretty good.

I have Roudybush Nibles and a nice seed mix for breakfast/lunch with salad greens and millet for afternoon snacking. When I`m not eating, I do enjoy destroying light balsa wood squares and paper finger traps; I also like to tear up a nice sheet of newspaper if I can get my beak on it!

Don`t be put off by my age! I have lots of life left to live and I intend to live every second of it - maybe with you and your cockatiel friends?

Check out this feature video about me from Mickaboo`s May 2023 online adoption event.

In nature, cockatiels live in large flocks. A single bird in a cage spends much of his/her life being lonely because humans have things they must do that take them away. We therefore will only adopt a single cockatiel to a household if there is already at least one cockatiel living there. Otherwise, cockatiels must be adopted in groups of two or more.
