Rainbow, Rainbow, Rainbowey! That is what I will say to you if you are eating something that I want to try. I have an amazing spirit despite my difficult life. I ended up at the animal shelter due to a police confiscation. Both of my feet were swollen and sore from bumblefoot. The vet believes that the band around my leg was so tight that my bone grew into it. I had to hold up that foot all the time because it hurt so much. I lived in pain for many, many years. Now I get pain and cardiovascular medicine twice a day on food. In my foster home, I met a beautiful female yellow-crown amazon. For two months she tried to groom me and I gently pushed her beak away with my beak. Now I let her groom my head and I love it. I`m not shy about it. In fact, I will push my head right into her beak. I also want to protect her. When the other amazon in the house gets into a squabble with her, I flap my wings to try to get to her. Mickaboo has given me a life that I could have only dreamed of before. I like my humans to talk and sing to me, and I will dance with you. Although I enjoy attention and hanging out with humans, I don`t like being picked up. I love fruit and vegetables, especially tomatoes and peppers. If you are a very special person who can take me under your wing, please contact the amazon coordinator.

Check out this feature video about me from Mickaboo`s August 2023 online adoption event. I`m featured at 38:05 into the video.
