Hi, my name is Paco. I am handsome blue boy who was found outside in the winter wet of December, and Mickaboo stepped in to help me. I spent some time at the vet til I was healthy enough to go to a foster home. I enjoy listening to the radio, singing a lot, and chattering to the other budgies in my life. My foster mom says I am very smart and communicative - I`ll surely pipe up if she`s late with the food! I eat pellets, Nutri-An cakes and seed, and enjoy an occasional piece of millet. I always have a piece of something green at breakfast, but haven`t really tried eating it yet, although it makes a wonderful bowl for my food. I love to fly; though I look a little clumsy I`m very brave and strong! As a single guy, I am looking for a forever home that has at least one other budgie for companionship. Will you be my forever home?
In nature, parakeets (budgerigars) live in large flocks. A single bird in a cage spends much of his/her life being lonely because humans have things they must do that take them away. We therefore will only adopt a single parakeet to a household if there is already at least one parakeet living there. Otherwise, parakeets must be adopted in groups of two or more.
