Hi, I`m Flint, a male grey cockatiel. I`m part of a group of cockatiels who lived in an aviary before coming to Mickaboo. I didn`t have much direct contact with humans, so I`m still somewhat reserved and wary around them. I will relax if you sit quietly near me for a while, and my foster mom is spending time with me every day. I like to nibble on leafy greens and to play with and chew on shreddy toys.

Since I lived with many other cockatiels, I`m most comfortable around them, and I shouldn`t be the only bird in a household. Would you consider making me a part of your flock?

In nature, cockatiels live in large flocks. A single bird in a cage spends much of his/her life being lonely because humans have things they must do that take them away. We therefore will only adopt a single cockatiel to a household if there is already at least one cockatiel living there. Otherwise, cockatiels must be adopted in groups of two or more.
