Hi everyone, I`m Oatmeal! I came to Mickaboo under very scary circumstances. I`d chewed on an unsafe cage and ingested some of the metal, leading me to have some major health concerns from heavy metal poisoning. The nice people at Mickaboo took me in, got me to a vet, and were able to save me from a pretty awful fate!

My condition is still improving every day - I went from not being able to sit up at all, to being able to perch on one foot and eat my food with the other. I`m taking some medication right now to help my liver, and everything is looking up! My foster says I`m full of energy, and I`m eager for love and attention.
