One of the couple dozen Birdbrains panels I have archived.  (I think it's winding down ... all I have been seeing since mid-January are reprints of old non-color ones, and they had been repeating some of the past color ones from time to time since October.)

Bird Toon of the Day - February 12, 2020

This is a real flashback. I found this while searching for something else; it is a strip I remember my local newspaper carrying when I was younger.  The strip (and title character) is Winthrop, and the parrot is obviously named MacTavish.  I don't remember his sister's name, and Wikipedia was no help there, although it does say the strip ran from 1966 to 1994, and was an evolution of another strip (Morty Meekle) which dates back to 1956.  Anyway, from today in 1971:

I am gradually finding old strips from my newest discovery, Tundra, which is a strip originally drawn for the Anchorage Daily News by a local resident and now syndicated to newspapers around the U.S.  Although not labeled as such, this strip is from today in 2015:
